Bobsled is a mountain biking route in the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. The ride is an out-and-back of about 4 miles, with a total elevation gain of about 518 feet from the low point at roughly 5,557 feet to the high point at about 6,085 feet. It is rated easy. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Placitas put May highs near 79°F and September highs near 82°F, while July and August climb to about 91°F and bring more wet days. The route is close to several hiking trails. Sidewinder is about 0.1 mile away and High Voltage about 0.3 mile. Mustang Alley Trail is about a mile off, and the Tunnel Springs climbing area is about 2.7 miles away.
