Spring Lake Borough: Ocean Ave & Remsen Ave is a public beach access point on the New Jersey shore, about half a mile from the town of Lake Como. The access has parking, and swimming is allowed. A fee is charged to use the beach. Summer is the natural season for a beach visit here. At the Long Branch-Oakhurst weather station about nine miles away, July typically averages highs around 84°F and lows near 67°F, with August only slightly cooler at about 82°F. Several trails lie within a short drive for time away from the sand.
