Ridge (Difficult) is a short mountain biking climb on Bureau of Land Management land in Nevada, within the Red Rock/Sloan Field Office. The route is an out-and-back of about 1.2 miles, with a total gain and loss of roughly 560 feet, and it is rated hard. The high point reaches about 4,932 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about half a mile, with a 15% grade. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 70°F with lows near 47°F, and October highs around 75°F with lows near 50°F. That station sits well below the climb, so temperatures up high run cooler. Bomb Voyage (Extreme) is just 0.1 mile away, and Radio Tower is about half a mile off. Three Amigos (Difficult) and Bob Gnarly are each about 0.6 mile away. For an overnight stay, Red Rock Canyon Campground is about 1.8 miles from the route.
