Ranger Trail is a 5.8-mile loop in the Ely Ranger District of Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The route rises about 600 feet from a low point of 8,227 feet to a high of 9,136 feet, and it is rated moderate. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, so it works for hikers and riders alike. The trail is open year-round, and the trip takes about two hours. Ranger Trail Spur 3 starts just 0.1 mile away, and Muncy Creek and Tea Pot Spring Trail are both within a mile. For an overnight stay, Kalamazoo Campground is about 5.6 miles off.
