Topaz Lake is a fishing lake in Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, within the Bridgeport Ranger District. It is managed jointly by the Nevada Department of Wildlife and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the route to it is rated easy. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Topaz Lake show May highs around 72°F and September highs around 82°F, while July and August average about 90°F. Gray Creek Trail lies about 1.4 miles away and Wild Oat Mountain about 2 miles away. Blackwell Canyon and the East Carson River are both within about 9 miles.
