Rhône is a bouldering area in Montana's Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, within the Butte Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits right alongside The Vineyard, another climbing spot just 0.1 mile away. The routes here are all boulders, with five listed in total. They range from V2 to V8, with the median grade around V6. The hardest is Entrance Exam at V8, and R.I.P Mason is the easiest at V2. Carson Langmack is the first climber on several of the routes. Summer is the warmest stretch. Typical averages from the nearby Boulder weather station, which sits about 1,000 feet lower, show July highs around 83°F and lows near 48°F.
