Eastside Piquett is a mountain biking route in the West Fork Ranger District of Montana's Bitterroot National Forest, about half a mile from the start point. The Forest Service manages the land. The route is short, about 0.56 miles, and the climb is gentle. It rises from about 4,872 feet to about 4,888 feet, with the steepest stretch at roughly 22% grade near the 0.49-mile mark. That makes it an easy addition to a longer ride in the area. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 82°F with lows near 43°F, and September highs around 73°F with fewer wet days than spring and early fall. Upper East Side Piquett, a hike, is about half a mile away, and the Upper East Piquett mountain biking route is about a mile off. Piquette Creek is also about a mile away. For an overnight stay, Medicine Point Lookout is about 3.8 miles away.
