Gibraltor Ridge is a short mountain biking ride in Montana's Kootenai National Forest, within the Fortine Ranger District. The route is about half a mile long, with a total climb of 221 feet from a low point of 6,625 feet to a high of 6,869 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.15 miles into the ride, where the grade reaches 17 percent. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail runs within a small section of the district. Because the climb is under half a mile and the total gain is modest, this is a quick outing that works well as a short addition to a day spent exploring the surrounding trails. Nearby, the Birch X-C Ski Loop A hike is about 1.6 miles away, and the Cat Creek hike is 1.8 miles off. The Therriault X-C Ski South Spur mountain biking trail is also 1.8 miles away. For an overnight stay, Grave Creek Campground sits about 4.2 miles from the ridge.
