Snow Trail 75 is a 30.6-mile point-to-point hike in the Darby Ranger District of Montana's Bitterroot National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. It starts at about 5,200 feet and climbs to a high point of 7,489 feet, with a total elevation gain of 2,899 feet. The route is rated expert, and the climb is rolling rather than a single steep push. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Wisdom, Montana, show July highs around 78°F with lows near 38°F, and the station sits about 1,400 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures up top run cooler. The trip takes about 11.5 hours. Weasel Creek and Skalkaho Creek-Jerry Lake are both within a mile of the start, and Black Bear Campground is about 4 miles away.
