Sentinel Mtn. is a moderate 3-mile out-and-back hike in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, part of the Spotted Bear Ranger District of Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana. The trail starts at about 5,150 feet and climbs to roughly 6,900 feet, reaching a high point of about 6,915 feet. The route is a natural-surface trail not accessible to wheelchairs, and it is rated moderate. Horses are allowed, but bikes are not. The Forest Service manages the land. Foolhen Creek and East Side South Fork both lie about 0.1 mile away. Ayres and Danaher Creek, a canoeing spot, are each about 1.3 miles off.
