Otis is a hard hike in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, part of the Spotted Bear Ranger District of Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is a natural-surface out-and-back that climbs from about 5,310 feet to about 7,191 feet over a round-trip of about 7.2 miles. The one-way gain is roughly 1,795 feet. The trail is open to horses and is not accessible. Bikes are not allowed. Several other hikes sit within a few miles, including Cardinal Creek, Marshall Creek and Boulder Creek, each about 4 miles away, and Crimson Peak at about 5 miles.
