Hidden Lake is an easy out-and-back hike of about 1.6 miles in the Anaconda Pintler Wilderness, on the Sula Ranger District of the Bitterroot National Forest in Montana. The trail rises about 556 feet from a low point of 7,709 feet to a high point of 8,270 feet, and the surface is natural. The Forest Service manages the land. The route starts within wilderness, so plan on following wilderness rules and carrying all your own food and waste. The trail is short and the climb is gentle, making it a good option for a quick outing in the backcountry. Two other hikes, Ripple Lake and the Hiline Trail, sit about a mile away, and the Bitterroot-Rock Creek Divide is about 1.5 miles off. Pintler Campground, about 8.4 miles away, is the closest place to camp.
