Dodge Summit Trail is a 9.4-mile out-and-back hike in the Three Rivers Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest. The trail rises from about 4,000 feet to a high point of 5,546 feet, a climb of roughly 1,060 feet one way, and the Forest Service manages the surrounding land. The route is rated hard, and it's a natural-surface trail. Biking and horseback riding are both allowed, but the trail is not accessible. The trail stays open from about May 1 to November 30. For supplies, Caribou Campground sits about 3.6 miles away, and Robinson Mountain and Young Creek offer nearby hikes within a few miles. Paddlers can reach the Yaak River about 10 miles off.
