Boyscout Trail B is an easy out-and-back hike of about 2.2 miles in the Seeley Lake Ranger District of Lolo National Forest in Montana. The route starts and ends at a low point of about 4,017 feet, rising to a high of about 4,086 feet, which makes for a gentle climb of about 55 feet one way. The trail is managed by the Forest Service and is open year-round. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Seeley Lake show July and August highs around 83°F with lows in the low 40s and the fewest wet days of the year, while winter brings highs near freezing and lows around 10 to 13°F. Bikes are allowed, so the trail works for hikers and riders alike. It sits close to a cluster of trails, campsites and paddling water. Hotel Point Cutoff, a mountain biking route, is about 0.1 mile away, and Boyscout Trail A, a second hike, is about 0.3 mile away. Seeley Lake Campground Complex and River Point Campground Complex are both within a mile.
