Berray Mountain West is a 3.2-mile out-and-back hike in the Cabinet Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises from about 5,180 feet to about 6,058 feet, with an elevation gain of 851 feet, and is rated moderate. The route is natural-surface and allows bikes. It is not an accessible trail. Berray Mountain, a hike about 1.9 miles away, and Dry Creek, about 2.7 miles away, are the closest neighbors. Bad Medicine Campground and Bull River Guard Station, both about 2.7 to 3 miles away, offer camping.
