Bear Creek is a 13.7-mile out-and-back hike in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, part of the Rocky Mountain Ranger District of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest in Montana. The trail climbs from about 4,887 feet to 6,953 feet, a 2,000-foot gain, and is rated hard. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is natural-surfaced, with horses allowed but bikes not. The trip is a full-day effort. Moose-Furman lies just 0.1 mile away, and Goat Creek and Sun Butte are within a mile. For an overnight base, Mortimer Gulch Campground is about 5 miles off.
