Attlebury is a moderate out-and-back hike of about 8.2 miles in the Cabinet Ranger District of Kootenai National Forest in northern Montana. The route runs from a low point of 2,935 feet to a high of 5,112 feet, giving it a one-way elevation gain of about 1,559 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail's natural surface makes it suitable for bikes. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at a similar elevation show July and August highs around 70°F with lows in the low 50s and only about six wet days a month, while winter highs sit in the upper 20s. The trip is open year-round, and the trail is not accessible. Robin Run and Granite Creek are both within 2 miles, and Minton Peak Lookout is about 2.3 miles away. West Fork Trout Creek lies roughly 3.5 miles off.
