Old Cove
About
Old Cove is a boat launch in Missouri, about 5.7 miles from the town of Parkway. It is a simple put-in point for getting a boat on the water, and that is what the place is for. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to launch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Union put October highs around 70°F and May highs near 78°F, while July highs typically reach about 91°F. Two other spots are close by. Lost Hill Trail is a hike about 5 miles away, and the Little Meramec River, about 5.2 miles off, offers canoeing.
