Ho-Humm
About
Ho-Humm is a boat launch in Missouri, about 5 miles from the town of Bennett Springs. It is a simple put-in point for getting a boat onto the water in this part of the state. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 76°F and September highs near 80°F, while July highs average about 88°F. Because the station sits below the launch, temperatures here may run a little cooler than those figures. Paddlers can head to Mountain Creek, about 4 miles away, or the Niangua River, roughly 8.5 miles out. Anglers have Bennett Spring Branch within about 5.5 miles, and hikers can try the Mill Pond Trail, a little under 5 miles from the launch.
