S. Berghorst Ridge Trail is a short, easy cross-country ski route in Michigan's Pigeon Creek County Park, on county land within the Cadillac Ranger District of the Huron-Manistee National Forest. The trail is an out-and-back of about 1.3 miles, with a high point of 628 feet and a low of 623 feet. The climb is minimal, with no elevation gain, and the steepest stretch comes early on, at about 10% grade. Winter is the natural season for this trail. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Grand Haven show January highs around 32°F and lows near 19°F, while March runs a little milder, with highs around 42°F. Several other ski routes sit close by. Creek Loop is about 0.3 miles away, and Hemlock Path and Red Pine Loop are each about 0.4 miles off. Mounds Loop is roughly 0.5 miles away.
