Ogemaw Hills Pathway is a short, easy cross-country ski route in Michigan's Ogemaw Hills, about 4 miles from the town of Campbells Corners. The trail is an out-and-back that covers roughly half a mile, with a total climb of about 70 feet. The high point is 1,336 feet, and the steepest stretch comes about a fifth of the way in, with a grade of about 5 percent. Winter is the natural season for this route. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show January highs around 27°F with about 11 snow days, while March brings highs near 41°F and fewer snow days. That station sits several hundred feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the path run cooler. For a change of pace, the Rifle River, a fishing spot, lies about 8 miles away.
