Bucks Run is a cross-country ski route in Huron Meadows Metropark, a city-managed park in Michigan. The loop is about 0.3 miles long and sits at roughly 880 to 900 feet, with no elevation gain on the way around. It's a short, flat outing, and the steepest part of the route is only about 3% grade, so it works well as a quick addition to a longer day on the park's trails. Winter is the natural season for skiing here. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Whitmore Lake show January highs around 30°F with lows near 15°F, while March runs a bit milder at about 44°F by day. Coyote Run and Hawk Hills are both within a third of a mile, so it's easy to link them together. The Blue Trail, a mountain biking route, is about 1.8 miles away, and the Brighton Recreation Area Bishop Lake Hiking Trails are about 3.2 miles off.
