Rick's Revenge is a short, out-and-back mountain biking route in Michigan's Local Forest, on county land about a mile from the town of Gladwin. The climb is rated hard, and the route is just under 2 miles long, with a total elevation gain of about 145 feet. The high point is 903 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.74 miles in, with a grade of about 6 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Gladwin weather station show July highs around 82°F and lows near 57°F, while winter brings highs in the 20s and regular snow days from December through February. Several other mountain biking routes sit within a short distance. Snidley Whiplash is about 0.1 mile away, and Tilt, Down By The River and Skunk Valley are each about 0.2 mile off. For paddling, the Sugar River is roughly 9 miles away.
