Green Trail is a mountain biking loop in Michigan, about 1.3 miles from the town of Portland. The route is short and flat, with a total elevation gain of zero, and it's rated easy. The loop is roughly 1.4 miles long, and the highest point on it is 770 feet, while the lowest is 741 feet. The climb is gentle. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.88 miles into the ride, with a grade of about 2%. The route loses about 73 feet over the course of the loop. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical July highs reach about 81°F with lows near 60°F, according to averages from a nearby weather station in Ionia. Winters there are cold, with January highs around 29°F. Several other routes sit close by. Blue Trail and Black Trail are each about 0.2 miles away, and Rivertrail Linear Park is about 1.1 miles away for hikers.
