Yondota Falls is a short, easy hike in the Bessemer Ranger District of the Ottawa National Forest in Michigan, about 0.7 miles long and roughly 60 feet of elevation gain one way. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is natural-surfaced, with no accessibility features. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Bergland Dam weather station run to highs around 77°F in July and 76°F in August, with lows in the low 50s. Winters are cold, with January highs near 21°F. The trail is open to bikes and horses. For more time outdoors, the Presque Isle River is about 1.3 miles away, and Bobcat Lake Campground is about 4.9 miles off. Wolf Mountain and the Canoe-Presque Isle River hikes are each about 4.2 miles away.
