Oscoda Township Beach is a public lake beach in Michigan, about half a mile from the town of Oscoda. It is a simple stop for a day at the water, close to town and easy to fold into a longer outing in the area. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at E Tawas show July highs around 80°F with lows near 58°F, and June and August are only slightly cooler. Paddlers can head to Van Etten Creek, about a mile away, or the Au Sable River, about 2 miles off. Hikers have the Grass Lake Spur, roughly 1.7 miles away, and the Eagle Run Hike & Ski Trail, about 2 miles away.
