Down Deep is a mountain biking route in western Massachusetts, about 1.2 miles from the town of Pratt Corner. It is a short out-and-back ride of roughly 1.2 miles, with a total climb of about 193 feet from a low point of 634 feet to a high of 731 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.47 miles in, with a grade of about 6 percent. The most comfortable months for riding are late spring through early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leverett show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 74°F, with July the warmest at about 83°F. That station sits several hundred feet lower than the route, so temperatures on the climb run a little cooler.
