The Dam Boulder is a bouldering area in Maryland, about a mile from the town of Yonkers. It sits close to several other outdoor spots, which makes it an easy addition to a day spent hiking or climbing in the area. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 75°F and October highs around 67°F, with July peaking near 87°F. The boulder area has three routes, all rated V0 on the V scale and all bouldering. They are Cold Corner, Finger Shredder and The overhang Reach. Rocky Trail starts just 0.2 miles away, and Canyon Overlook and Evitt's Mountain Homesite Trail are both about 0.3 miles off. Mercury Buttress, a climbing area roughly 6.6 miles away, is another option.
