Morgan Mill Trail is a short mountain biking route in Maryland, set within the Loch Raven Reservoir area. The trail is an out-and-back about 0.6 miles long, with a low point of 429 feet and a high of 485 feet, and it gains and loses about 112 feet over the course of the trip. The climb is steepest near the start, at about 5% grade, so plan for a gentle rise and descent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from the Cylburn weather station, about 9 miles away, show May highs near 73°F and October highs around 66°F. The station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the reservoir's higher ground run cooler. Fire Road is about 0.2 miles away, and Glen Ellen Trail is about 0.6 miles away. Hikers can head to Log Trail, about a mile off, and anglers can reach the Loch Raven Reservoir at Dulaney Valley Access, roughly 2.2 miles away.
