The Youghiogheny River fishing area sits along the Maryland side of the river, about 0.3 miles from the community of Hoyes Run. The Maryland Department of Natural Resources manages the land. The warmest stretch runs from June through September, when typical highs at a nearby weather station average between 75 and 79°F and lows range from 52 to 56°F.
