Stadium is a short, flat cross-country ski route in northern Maine, about 0.12 miles long and with no elevation gain. It sits at roughly 910 feet, with the high point just 2 feet higher than the low, and it lies about half a mile from Fort Kent Mills. Winter is the natural season for this kind of skiing. Typical averages from the nearby Ft Kent weather station show January highs around 19°F with lows near -3°F, while March runs about 33°F by day and 9°F at night. That station sits about 300 feet lower than the route, so temperatures on the trail run a little cooler. The Stadium route makes an easy addition to a day of skiing in the area. Waska Loop, Camel Humps and Penalty Loop all lie about 0.1 mile away, and Volunteer Way is about 0.2 mile off.
