The trail is an out-and-back that starts and ends at about 1,378 feet, with a high point of 1,468 feet and a total climb of about 350 feet. The route is roughly 6 miles long, and the steepest stretch comes at about 2.8 miles in, with a grade of about 12%. Winter is the natural season for this trail.
