Accipiter Alley Loop is a cross-country ski route in Maine, about 1.5 miles from the town of Monson. It is an easy trail with no elevation gain, so it works well for a short outing or as a connector between other routes in the area. Winter is the natural season for skiing here. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Greenville show January highs around 23°F with lows near 5°F, while March runs a bit milder at highs around 34°F. The station sits about 280 feet higher than the loop, so temperatures on the trail may run slightly warmer. Several other routes start right next door. Bobcat Blaze and Raven Tag Trail are each about 0.1 mile away, and Coyote Connector is just as close. For a change of pace, the Fierce Fisher Loop hike is about 0.2 mile off.
