The Sheepscot River boat launch sits in Maine, about a mile from Wiscasset. It is a put-in for getting onto the Sheepscot River by boat. Summer is the most comfortable stretch for time on the water. Typical July and August highs reach about 79°F with lows in the upper 50s, based on averages from a nearby weather station at Wiscasset's airport.
