Moose Tracks is a short, moderate mountain biking route in western Maine, about 1.3 miles from the town of Bigelow. The trail is an out-and-back that spans roughly 0.28 miles and gains and loses about 30 feet of elevation. It's a compact ride that works well for skill building, with mixed surfaces that give riders practice on the varied textures and obstacles typical of Maine's forested terrain. The route is rated moderate, and it's designed for intermediate riders. Its manageable distance makes it easy to do multiple laps, and the trail's flat profile with a slight climb in the middle keeps the pace steady. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Long Falls Dam put July highs around 77°F with lows near 55°F, while September cools to highs around 68°F. Several other trails sit close by. Oh My Gosh Loop and Snowbrook Trail are both about 0.2 miles away, and Sunny Breeze is about 0.4 miles off. Climbers can find Tufulio's Boulders about 4.4 miles away.
