Community Effort Wall is a climbing area in Illinois, about 1.3 miles from the town of Camden. It sits right next to Pere Marquette State Park, with C: Hornbein's Wall and E: Ryan's Balcony also within a tenth of a mile. The name points to a community-driven effort, and the wall pairs with several other climbing areas in the same cluster. The climbing here is sport and trad, with five routes in total. The grades run from 5.6 up to 5.12a. Food Stamps is the easiest at 5.6, and Ice Cream Social is the only trad route at 5.11a/b. American Red Cross and Feeding The Hungry are both 5.12a. The wall is a compact stop for climbers working the park's rock. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go.
