Forest Divide is a 4.4-mile out-and-back hike in Idaho's Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, within the Moose Creek Ranger District of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest. The trail climbs from about 6,091 feet to about 6,908 feet, a total gain of 779 feet, and is rated moderate. The route lies entirely within designated wilderness, and the Forest Service manages the land. The trail surface is natural, and the Fry Pan Creek Trail and Eagle Rock Trail both start within a tenth of a mile of the Forest Divide trailhead. North Star Ridge and Paradise Creek are about 4 miles away, and the Selway River Trail is roughly 4.8 miles off. For an overnight stay, Paradise Campground sits about 7 miles from the trail.
