Bear Gulch-Table Mtn is a hard hike in Idaho's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, within the Forest Service's Dubois Ranger District. The route is an out-and-back that climbs from about 7,021 feet to 8,764 feet, with a total elevation gain of 1,712 feet over roughly 9.9 miles. The trail is natural-surface and open to both horses and bikes. It is not an accessible trail, so plan for a route that works with those modes of travel. Steel Creek Group Campground sits about 1.6 miles away, and Al Taylor Cabin is about 1.9 miles off.
