Wendover Campground is a Forest Service campground in Idaho, set along the Wild and Scenic Lochsa River about 158 miles along the Northwest Passage Scenic Byway and All American Road (US Highway 12). It lies within the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness, on the North Fork Ranger District of the Salmon-Challis National Forest, and the land manager is the Forest Service. The campground has 27 campsites in a mature, moss-covered pine forest, with a small stream running through the center. It is set up for relaxing and offers picnicking, fishing, hiking and nature viewing. RVs up to 40 feet are welcome. Hosts are provided when the campground is open. Reservations are not required. The surrounding area has several short hikes within a few miles, including Waugh Mtn-West Horse, Eakin Ridge and Elkhorn Mountain. Paddlers can head to the Selway River, about 9 miles away.
