River Trail is a mountain biking route in the Oconee Ranger District of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests in Georgia, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is flat, with no elevation gain, and is rated easy, making it a straightforward ride for riders of all skill levels. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Monticello show October highs around 78°F with lows near 48°F, and April highs around 77°F with lows near 45°F. Midsummer highs typically reach the low 90s. The trail sits among a cluster of hiking routes. Canyon Tr is about 0.1 mile away and Boomerang Trail about 0.2 mile.
