Oakfuskee Path is a short, easy out-and-back hike in the Oconee Ranger District of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests in Georgia, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 1.9 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 406 feet, and it reaches a high point of 598 feet. The steepest stretch comes early on, at about 0.17 miles in, with a grade of 8 percent. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Monticello show October highs around 78°F with lows near 48°F, and April highs around 77°F. July is the hottest month, with typical highs near 92°F. The hike takes about an hour. The Bigfoot Firebreak is just 0.2 miles away, and the Nelson Island Trail and Wise Creek Trail are each about 0.8 miles off.
