Mountain Creek Nature Trail is a 3.05-mile loop hike in F. D. Roosevelt State Park in Georgia, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The trail is rated easy, with a total elevation gain of about 150 feet. It starts at roughly 1,010 feet and reaches a high of about 1,056 feet, with the steepest stretch at about 13% grade around the 2.3-mile mark. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in La Grange show October highs around 76°F with lows near 52°F, and April is similar at about 76°F by day and 49°F at night.
