Beech-Magnolia Trail is a short, easy hike in Florida Caverns State Park, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is 0.37 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 40 feet, and it runs from a low point of 79 feet to a high of 134 feet. The climb is flat overall, with the steepest stretch at about 0.23 miles in, where the grade reaches 3 percent. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Marianna show April highs around 80°F and October highs around 81°F, while July and August average in the low 90s with the most wet days of the year. The trail makes an easy addition to a visit to the park. Bluff Trail and the Chipola River are both about 0.2 miles away, and the River Trail (Blue) is about 1.2 miles off.
