Tulip Tree Trail is a short, easy loop in Connecticut, about 0.36 miles long and rising just 11 feet from its low point of 186 feet to a high of 213 feet. The trail is a quick outing, and it works well as a stop on a longer walk through the surrounding network of trails. The nearest town is Westville, about 1.3 miles away. Bikes are allowed, so the route can be done on foot or by bicycle. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ansonia show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 75°F, with July and August peaking near 82°F. Several other trails sit close by. Fishing Spur Trail and Mark Schaefer Trail are each about 0.7 miles away, and Pine Trail is about 1.5 miles off. Climbers can find Ball Field Slabs roughly 1.7 miles away.
