Race Brook Trail is an easy hike of about 1.3 miles in Connecticut's Racebrook Tract, roughly 0.1 mile from Wepawaug Trail and Colburn Brook Trail. It rises from 224 feet to 257 feet, with a total elevation gain of 77 feet, and is a short, gentle outing that pairs easily with other trails in the area. The route is a point-to-point path, and it passes a steep stretch of about 10% grade at around 0.26 miles. Bikes are allowed, so the trail works for both hikers and riders. Late spring and early fall tend to be the most comfortable times to go.
