Firehouse Trail is a short, easy hike in Saugatuck Falls Natural Area in Connecticut, about 0.9 miles long with a climb of 86 feet from a low point of 356 feet to a high of 425 feet. The route is a point-to-point path, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.4 miles in, with a 12% grade. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Danbury show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 74°F, while July peaks near 82°F. Falls Trail starts just 0.2 miles away, and Power Line Trail and Oak Trail are each about 0.3 miles off. Climbers can find Slugs & Crickets Block roughly 2 miles away.
