Connector Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 0.8 miles long and roughly 100 feet of elevation gain from its low point of 517 feet to a high of 611 feet. The trail is a point-to-point route, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.3 miles in, with a 9% grade. The nearest town is Gilead, about 3.4 miles away. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Storrs run from highs around 76°F in June to about 73°F in September, with July the warmest at 80°F. Winters are cold, with January highs near 35°F. The Gay City/Blackledge Falls Connector lies just 0.2 miles away, and Split Rock Trail and the Outer Loop Trail are each about a mile off. Climbers can find The Giving Boulder roughly 1.8 miles away.
