Agnes' Pasture Trail is a short loop in eastern Connecticut, about 0.4 miles from the town of Chaplin. The route gains about 27 feet in elevation, with the high point at 441 feet, and the total descent is about 54 feet. The climb is back-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.34 miles into the loop, where the grade reaches roughly 6%. The trail is rated easy and takes about half an hour to complete. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring through early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Hampton, CT weather station run from highs around 68°F in May to about 73°F in September. Winters are cold, with January highs near 36°F. Several other trails sit close by. The Dim White Trail is about 0.4 miles away and the Tower Yellow Trail about 0.5 miles.
