Wind Tower - SW Face is a climbing area on the south-west face of Wind Tower in Eldorado Canyon State Park, Colorado, which is managed by State Fish and Wildlife. The surrounding park offers several other climbing areas, trails and campgrounds within a short distance. For comfortable climbing weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 69°F in May to 76°F in September, with July the warmest month at about 87°F. Wind Tower - S Face and Whale's Tail, The are both climbing areas about 0.1 mile away, and Streamside Trail is a hike at the same distance. For an overnight stay, Winiger Ridge campground is roughly 5 miles off.
