It sits within the park's network of climbing spots, with two other named areas, White Twin and West Side, each about 0.1 mile away. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 77°F, while July climbs to about 86°F and winter highs sit in the mid-40s. The Central Garden Trail and Palmer Trail are both about 0.2 mile away for a walk before or after climbing. Garden of the Gods RV Resort is about 1.4 miles off for an overnight stay.
